1988
A Star is born
Garic was incorporated as a business on the 12th February 1988. Originally known as Shuttleworth Plant Hire Limited.
1995
Effective Design
World patent claimed on the interceptor drip tray: this simple yet highly effective design which negates the need for filtered or chemicals, giving you instant environmental protection by capturing costly fuel and oil leaks.
2001
Garic Rebrand
July 25th the company formerly known as Shuttleworth Plant Hire, is now rebranded as Garic Limited.
2002
Award Winning Solar Loo
Awarded the Green Apple Award for the innovative design. This annual international campaign is used to recognise, reward and promote environmental best practice around the world.
2008
Investment
Bibby Line Group takeover ownership.
2011
Armadillo eco launch
Each eco welfare unit is solar powered and backed up by a bespoke 12v super silent generator which stops and starts as required.
2013
Sandy expansion
Opening of a new depot based in sandy to service the south of the country.
2015
Combi cabin eco series+ launch
Launch of the combi cabin eco series+. The industry’s most environmentally friendly welfare unit.
Growth Strategy
Unveiled a major growth strategy seeing the company increase its chain of depos across the UK.
Product of the year award
Garic wins product of the year for the combi cabin eco series+ at the Builder and engineer awards.
2016
Dudley expansion
Opening of a new depot based in Dudley servicing the West Midlands.
2017
Award winning
Awarded the highest FORS recognition; the gold standard.
Scotland expansion
Garic expands again and opens a firther depot in Scotland.
I-site launch
A construction industry first - i-SITE is a new remote monitoring system reducing the cost and environmental impact of site servicing.

West Thurrock Expansion
