Garic is delighted to announce it has been selected by the Environment Agency to supply welfare and accommodation equipment as part of a new six year plant hire framework.
Following a comprehensive business review and keen competitive tendering process, the Environment Agency identified five leading industry companies to partner with. Each supplier will provide expert support and the latest, safest and most environmentally efficient specialist equipment.
Welfare and site equipment provider, Garic, has been awarded the contract for static and towable welfare units, toilets and storage units.
The new framework aims to provide improved levels of service across many areas of the Environment Agency’s work including access to competitive rates, great customer service and top quality equipment.
Neil Richardson Sales Director at Garic commented: “Garic is excited to start this partnership by growing the relationship. We will endeavour to be the best quality hire supplier we can possibly be, and deliver outstanding solar welfare in line with our own, and the Environment Agency’s core values. We are really pleased to be on board!”
Established in 1996, the Environment Agency is responsible for regulating major industry and waste; the treatment of contaminated land; water quality and resources; inland fisheries; river, estuary and harbour navigation; conservation and ecology plus managing the risk of flooding from main rivers, reservoirs, estuaries and the sea.
The framework is key to delivering the Environment Agency’s front line services for example its annual maintenance programmes and flood defence assets. As a category 1 Incident Response Service Provider the Agency, and its partners, are required to be ‘Major Incident Ready’ at all times.
The initial three-year contract which has just begun also includes a further three-year extension option.
