  • To transport and replenish consumables as required at each individual site

The Depot Administrator will assist in the smooth running of the depot on a day-to-day basis by providing general administrative support to the team. Reporting to the Depot Manager, this role will play an integral part in the set-up of the Depot. For the right person, there will also be the opportunity for the role to develop as the Depot grows.

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Duties and Responsibilities
  • Answer all incoming telephone enquiries
  • Generate and process collection and delivery notes through Insphire software
  • Log and record damages and process charges to customers from returned assets
  • Act as the first point of contact for all visitors by delivering excellent customer service and ensuring all visitors adhere to the Health and Safety guidelines
  • Support with the booking of the van MOT, servicing and Repairs, via 3rd party providers
  • Provide information on stock availability and stock movement
  • Generate and complete depot stock transfers, in and out of your operating depot.
  • Support other Garic depots during periods of administration annual leave.
  • Improve and develop the existing systems and processes to ensure the Depot operates efficiently
What do you need to become a successful HGV Driver?

Essential:
  • Previous administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience of working in a construction/hire or manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with all aspects of Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience of working in a customer facing role

We’re looking for a professional, enthusiastic and flexible Van Driver with towing experience to join the team at our Bury depot in this fast paced & varied role. Start times are between 6am and 8am and you will be working around 8/12-hour days.  Overtime paid at time and a half, after 40 hours.

 

As a professional Van Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of company assets throughout the UK.

Your role will include various duties, including being fully responsible for safe operation and road worthiness of the vehicle you are allocated to drive and the safety and security of the load you are transporting.

You will be responsible for efficient and effective route planning, ensuring your workload is completed in line within current WTD legislation and to also ensure customer expectations and requirements are met.

The successful Van Driver will need to have good customer service and communication skills as you will be directly dealing with customers daily.

    • Complete walk round and safety checks daily
    • Identify and report any vehicle defect immediately.
    • Adhere to and follow safe systems of work and RAMS.
