Garic will close its operations for the Christmas period on Friday 23rd December 2022 at 1pm and will re-open on Tuesday 3rd January 2023 at 8am. During this period equipment which is out on hire will be covered by a call out maintenance service, details of which are included below.
As always, we aim to support your business by providing high quality products, backed up by excellent levels of customer service. In order for us to plan for the shutdown period we strongly advise all of our customers to give us as much advance notice as possible in order to enable us to forward plan our logistics.
No Need to Off-Hire
Not off-hiring kit over the Christmas period means:
• No additional transport charges in respect of returning kit back to Garic
• The additional cost of the equipment being redelivered in the New Year is often not economical when you consider the hire charges over the same period.
If you wish to off-hire over the Christmas period we ask you to inform us, in writing, by Monday 5th December for guaranteed collection. Any items off-hired after this date may not be collected and will remain on site therefore your responsibility until collection can be made after the Christmas period.
All plant that remains on site must be secured and remains your responsibility for insurance purposes.
For equipment which is being used during this period we are able to offer you a breakdown cover service at a cost of £85+VAT for the initial call out and then an additional £75+VAT per hour, minimum 4 hours, plus parts.
During the Christmas period, any water / waste welfare services required need to be booked by Friday 9th December.
