Garic, the leading supplier of welfare facilities and plant to the rail, infrastructure, construction, industrial and utilities sectors, headed to the Midlands to take part in SafeStart19 earlier this month.
The exhibition which was held at Stoneleigh Park, National Agricultural Centre near Coventry focussed on promoting safety and innovation across the rail and highways industries.
Commenting on the exhibition Garic director Neil Richardson said: “SafeStart19 was even bigger and better than it has been in the last couple of years. Since the show started in 2014 it has grown steadily and is now supported by all the leading names in the industry such as Balfour Beatty, Morgan Sindall, Network Rail, High Speed Rail, HS2 and Garic of course!
“The event aims to promote products and services that are integral to improving employee wellbeing and safety which is obviously what we are all about. It was the perfect show case for us to demonstrate our latest welfare innovations such as our next generation welfare van and our solar powered toilets.
“It also gave us the opportunity to further explore the partnering initiatives we are keen to establish with other rail and highways organisations. I hope it was really productive for everyone involved.”
Garic’s specialist rail division, was established just over 12 months ago and is already working with 10 of the UK’s leading rail contractors including Siemens, VolkerRail, Stobart Rail and J Murphy & Son and has established a collaborative partnership with Network Rail developing a number of product and service innovations. Garic Rail provides structured service plans and organises and manages plant, welfare and site solutions.
