Garic Donates Welfare Cabin to Support 1st Holmer Scout Group

Garic is proud to announce its support for the 1st Holmer Scout Group with the donation of a welfare cabin that is already playing a key role in the group’s exciting expansion plans.

As the group continues to grow, the cabin is helping to create more usable space within the existing scout hut. It’s now being used to safely and accessibly store essential kit, freeing up indoor areas and enabling the group to introduce a new quiet space. This dedicated area is designed to offer additional support for neurodivergent young people, ensuring that every member can enjoy their time in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

The welfare cabin is also proving invaluable behind the scenes, making camp preparation easier for volunteers and helping to create a more fun, organised experience for all age groups — from the youngest Squirrels to the older Scouts.

Simon from the 1st Holmer Scout Group shared a heartfelt message of thanks:

“Garic’s support – especially from Kenton during the process and the professionalism of the delivery driver – has been outstanding. Your help has made a real difference.”

We’re proud to contribute to local community projects that create a lasting impact. This donation is just one example of how our welfare solutions can support not just construction sites, but also grassroots organisations doing incredible work with young people.
