Garic is delighted to announce it is a finalist in the Supplier & Contractor Excellence category of the Rail Business Awards.
The company, which is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of plant and welfare facilities to the construction, energy and infrastructure sectors, only launched its specialist rail division in January 2018. The new division is now already working with 10 leading rail contractors including Siemens, VolkerRail, Stobart Rail and J Murphy & Son and has established a collaborative partnership with Network Rail.
Commenting on the shortlisting Divisional Manager Ian Gosney said: “This is a fantastic achievement as we’ve been told the calibre of entries this year was exceptionally high and it endorses the positive contribution Garic Rail is already making to the rail industry.
“The division has been instrumental in introducing a number of innovative eco-efficient welfare products to the sector, as well as cost-saving fluid monitoring technology. It has also been working hard to improve servicing standards and promote inclusion.
“I am exceptionally proud of the whole Garic Rail team and wish them the very best of luck at the finals on the 21st February.”
Garic has been shortlisted along with five other leading rail suppliers including NG Bailey and Heathrow Airport & Camlin. The awards evening, hosted by Railway Gazette, is held at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
