Following an incredibly busy start to the year exhibiting at SafeStart19, Plantworx and Rail Live, Garic is looking forward to a successful second half of the year as interest in its new innovations and product updates continues apace.
Plantworx was a particular highlight for the team and amongst the most popular products on the impressive 36x24m stand was the brand new revolutionary Hybrid Welfare Van, City Wheel Wash, Armadillo XL+2 and Hybrid Welfare Trailer.
Frankie Turner, marketing manager said: “Plantworx has always been a fantastic show for us to unveil our latest products and this year the stand was exceptionally busy. There was an exceptional turnout despite the cold driving rain; in fact I’d say it was our most successful show to date.
“There was a real buzz, from people having meetings in our drying room whilst their coats dried off, to visitors networking in the new 40ft welfare trailer with its 4G Wi-Fi. The feedback during the show and since has been fantastic, particularly about our product innovations. Enquiries for new kit are coming through all the time.
“The real hero of the three days was our ground breaking self-sufficient off-grid Solatainer which quietly powered absolutely everything on the stand – a total of 30 products. One of the first things most people commented on was how little noise there was on our stand compared to others which were powered by traditional generators. I’m sure it’s going to be the future of power supply on site.”
Garic was in good company for unveiling positive news for the sector; the Construction Equipment Association (CEA) launched its Construction Sector Report during the show which revealed the UK construction sector ranks number one in Europe with a 24 percent market share.
It also cited the UK as Europe’s largest producer of construction equipment in 2018 and the fifth largest in the world.
