The Project

With hundreds of miles of improvements to the rail network needed, HS2 carried a risk of disrupting the transport network. But one potential issue was mud. If mud was transferred from worksites to the highways, it could lead to reduced driving conditions and knock-on effects across the transport grid.

The Solution

Garic’s site planners specified 21 ground-level wheel wash units, dug into the ground around access points to the site for quicker washing and better use of available space. By fitting Enviro Wheel 24 Wash units with sunken lagoons, we made it easy and frictionless to keep mud off the highways.

The Commercial Benefits

  • Recirculating water system for lower costs
  • No need for external ramps for ease of use and less expense
  • Included maintenance package for increased reliability
  • Included “Buy Back” option to lower costs even further
